Griffin Welti
Thanks for stopping by my site! My name is Griffin (he/him/his).
I’m an actor, singer, and mover based in New York City. I hail from little old Hopewell Junction in the Hudson Valley, from a family that is half Long Island Jews and half Swiss (so latkes, chocolate, and opinions have always been quite prevalent in my life). I’m a proud graduate of the University of Miami with my BFA in Musical Theatre! Most recently, I’ve portrayed Richard Dreyfuss in The Shark is Broken at Cumberland Theatre, been part of the debut touring cast of the Splash Water Parade with Creative Streak Entertainment and Cedar Fair, and filmed a featured role in an upcoming SAG-AFTRA feature film! In my free time, I love to build Legos, cuddle my dog, build full-scale Broadway theatres in Minecraft, drink LOTS of coffee, play piano, and read. I’m also quite the old soul, with an affinity for Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, and Carole King, among many others (although I can rap a good amount of Nicki Minaj if the occasion is right). Whether you want to work together, or just to discuss the ins and outs of Barbra’s memoir, I’m your guy -- please don’t hesitate to reach out!
